SHARM - Product Tour
SHARM, Self-Hypnosis And Relaxation Machine, is the software tool that enables both professional therapists and advanced users to quickly and easily create their own customized sessions.
Session
A SHARM session contains sound segments that are arranged over time. Each segment has its own properties and settings that can be used to customize the session.
SHARM includes 100 built-in, ready-to-use sessions for different applications, such as Creativity, Motivation, Relaxation and more.
Soundtracks
SHARM uses different sound technologies that are arranged in separate soundtracks. Different sound technologies are used for different purposes.
Segments
Each soundtrack includes sound segments that share the same sound technology, such as suggestions, nature or brainwave entrainment.
Sound properties
Each segment has its own sound properties. For example, you can start your session with the sound of a high waterfall, followed by the sound of a quiet slow stream.
Timeline
Use the timeline helps to precisely position each sound segment to set its starting and ending points in time.
Stages
A session is divided into several stages. The stages help to make it easier to create complex sessions. The stages describe the different parts of the session.
Graphs
You can change many sound properties over time with the graph editor.
For example, you can change the volume of a segment or the brainwave entrainment frequency over time by drawing a property graph.
Bilateral Sound
Bilateral literally means affecting the right and left sides of the body. Research shows that bilateral sound, which alternates between the right and left ears, helps the brain hemispheres to function harmoniously together. You can define any soundtrack as a bilateral sound to implement EMDR hypnotherapy sessions.
Suggestions
Suggestions are short positive phrases and instructions, given by SHARM, while the listener is in a state of deep relaxation or hypnosis.
SHARM includes many pre-recorded suggestions in different categories, which you can add to your sessions. In addition to the built-in suggestions, you can record your own. Use the internal recorder of SHARM or any external sound recorder.
Nature
The sound of running water has a profound and deep relaxing effect. It masks out external noises, as well as the endless internal chatter in our mind.Water is receiving, open, and accepting. The sound of water brings peace and tranquility. The sound of birds adds to the realism of the water sound.
Music
The fascinating music soundtrack sets the right atmosphere and mood to achieve different goals.
The music soundtrack generates musical patterns that are not simple sound loops. It is a blending and smoothing sound that takes the attention of the listener into deeper and deeper levels.
Bells
The hypnotic pattern of the bell soundtrack helps to focus our attention while we are in deep relaxation.
The bell soundtrack automatically creates a pattern that slightly changes in each pattern cycle.
Brainwave Entrainment
SHARM supports the three types of brainwave entrainment methods: binaural beats, monaural beats and isochronic tones.
Each brainwave entrainment method has advantages in synchronizing brain activity to the desired mind states.
Noise
The relaxing sound of unified random noise can be used to block disturbing external distractions when practicing a session or trying to fall asleep.
Breathwork
Deep and relaxed breathing can help us to achieve deep relaxation, control thoughts, raises the blood's oxygen level, and enhances strength and willpower.
SHARM guides you with a breathwork pattern. Adding breathwork to your sessions makes the session much more effective.
OM Chorus
Humming the OM sound produces physical vibrations that benefit the whole human system of body and mind.
Join the sound by humming with your own voice for best results.
Mixers
You can mix any external sound file such as recorded scripts or background music, to add even more sound possibilities to your SHARM sessions.
