If you use the live recording option with speakers instead of headphones, set the live recording playback option in the Options window to "don't use voice playback", to avoid high-pitched sounds ("feedback-loop").

Creating your own CDs is easy. Simply select a session or create your own and press the Export button in the top toolbar to create a sound file. SHARM enables you to directly burn the exported sound file fto an audio-CD once the export process is complete (Pro and Studio editions). You should burn an audio-CD, not a data-CD. Only audio-CDs can be played on CD players. Use the SHARM direct-burn option to create audio-CDs. Most likely, you need to tell SHARM which microphone to use. Please use the Options window to select the microphone. Alternatively, there may be a hardware connection problem between the microphone and your computer. Yes. Use the Ambient Music Creation Tool to create your own pure ambient music (Studio edition). Yes. Use the Stereo property below the Volume property. You can control the stereo position of any sound during the session. The easiest way to create a rhythmic panning effect is by using the Bilateral Sound option. Please refer to the Help section of the SHARM software. Yes. Draw two Voice segments, one above the other, to be played simultaneously. Set the stereo position of each segment with the segment stereo property to the left and to the right. Please refer to the "Dual Induction" session in the software. Any microphone that works with your computer should work with SHARM. Good microphones are not expensive, but we recommend that you invest at least $50 if you plan on using SHARM professionally. If you have Windows installed on your Mac computer, you can run SHARM. If you have Mac OS installed, please refer to the Download page to learn how to run SHARM on a Mac computer with Mac OS. This issue may appear if you are not accessing the correct folder. Change the current folder to the correct folder and go up one or two levels in the folder hierarchy. You should find the built-in files intact in the correct folder. The built-in male and female voices in SHARM were recorded by professional voice talents with a hypnotherapy background.
